Investors have always looked towards big structural changes to determine the sort of companies they want to gain exposure to in their portfolios. However, in recent years the range of options available to investors has exploded, with the growth of thematic ETFs.
Another change that we are seeing is the shift in investments into clean and renewable energy. In June 2022, IEA reported that global energy investment is set to increase by 8% in 2022 to reach USD 2.4 trillion (https://www.iea.org/news/record-clean-energy-spending-is-set-to-help-global-energy-investment-grow-by-8-in-2022).
